Hutchinson Software consultants bring an impressive depth and breadth of experience and knowledge to their projects. They have both worked as IT professionals for more than fifteen years.
Chris (chris@HutchinsonSoftware.com)
has been the Principal Consultant with Hutchinson Software since
1998 and has been responsible for the successful completion of many large
scale projects. (See clients). Chris refines
his theoretical frameworks and maintains technical currency by being an
avid reader of texts and industry publications aimed at
the professional software engineer. He has a particular interest in
user-centred design.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science, with majors in Computer Science and Psychology, from Auckland University in 1985. In addition to extensive experience as an analyst/programmer he can claim experience in PC support, Unix systems administration, and academic lecturing. In spare moments Chris teaches Aikido as head instructor for the Armidale Aiki-Kai dojo.

is Senior Consultant with Hutchinson Software. Her postgraduate
study in the areas of e-Business Strategies, Information Systems Management,
Organisational Change and Small Business Management infuses her work with
academic insights and rigour. She has a particular interest in the impact
of electronic commerce on business, employment and service provision in
rural and regional Australia (See article).
Janene received her Bachelor of Arts, with majors in Computer Science and Philosophy, from Sydney University in 1985. In 2004 she completed a Master of Economics degree (earning High Distinction grades for thesis and coursework units) through the Faculty of Economics, Business and Law at UNE. Janene has extensive experience in Oracle database administration, Novell local area network administration, and PC support. She has worked as Project Manager and Information Systems Manager for complex Oracle-based infrastructure projects.
